Booking the RERA Exam, Results and Retakes
There is no public exam calendar. Once you finish the DREI course, your brokerage registers you through DLD's exam registration e-service, which asks for the company's trade licence number, DLD reference and the number of attendees, and takes payment.
Results and retakes
- Results are usually given on the day (training-provider reports, 2026).
- Retakes: Bayut (Oct 2025) says you may retake as often as you need, paying each time; ierei.ae (Dec 2024) and dxbtraining.ae (May 2026) say a first retake is free.
- After a pass, the brokerage applies for your broker card in Trakheesi (RERA guide, Nov 2024).
Is there an annual test?
In 2018 Gulf News reported that brokers would need to pass an annual test to renew, and in November 2022 Emarat Al Youm reported that DLD would test brokers annually from January 2023 for new cards and renewals, with at least 75% to pass. Sources from 2025-2026 describe renewal through training instead. Check the current rule with DLD before your card's one-year validity ends.
