The exam at a glance

The exam tests Dubai law, RERA procedure and quick calculations. So does our bank.
A buyer of an off-plan apartment in Dubai Hills stops paying instalments. DLD serves the 30-day notice, he does not pay, and DLD certifies the unit as 72% complete. If the developer terminates the sale, what may it keep?
Step 1
Work through 15 topics in five exam domains. Every answer is graded instantly with a worked explanation and the article it comes from.
Step 2
Your mistakes come back for review, and study notes give you the rule, the trap and the takeaway for each topic.
Step 3
50 questions in 60 minutes across all five domains, scored against 75% (with your result at 70% and 85% too). Book the real exam when you pass consistently.
Written from Dubai's laws and RERA's guides, never copied. Scenarios, calculations and straight rules, labelled honestly.
Every explanation names the law and article (for example Law No. 26 of 2007, Art. 25) and dates every figure.
50 questions in 1 hour, plus 70- and 100-question formats; unseen questions first.
Square metres to square feet, service charges, commission and VAT, DLD fees, yields and rent caps, with the arithmetic shown.
One per topic: the rule, the exam trap and a takeaway you can remember.
Missed questions return until you get them right, with topic-level readiness scores.
Passes from AED 149 for a month. The 3-month pass at AED 229 covers your first attempt and a resit if you need one. No auto-renewal.
It is the Dubai Land Department's certification exam for real estate brokers, taken after the mandatory Dubai Real Estate Institute broker course. You need to pass it before RERA issues your broker card. It is a computer-based, multiple-choice exam on Dubai real estate law, RERA procedures, ethics and real estate mathematics.
DLD does not publish the full format on one page, and reports differ: 30, 50, about 70 or 100 questions, in 60 minutes or 2 hours. The pass mark most often reported is 75% (DLD as reported in November 2022, and most 2024-26 guides); 70% and 85% have also been reported. Our default practice exam is 50 questions in 60 minutes at 75%, and we also offer 70- and 100-question formats (as at 12 Oct 2026).

No. Every question is original, written from Dubai's real estate laws (Law No. 7 of 2006, Law No. 8 of 2007, Law No. 13 of 2008, Law No. 26 of 2007, Law No. 6 of 2019, Bylaw No. 85 of 2006 and others) and RERA's published guides. We never copy exam content or any other provider's questions, and we do not sell "past papers".
Laws and legislation (31%), Brokerage practice, ethics and compliance (34%), Sales and transactions (7%), Leasing (15%), Real estate mathematics and valuation (13%). DLD publishes no official weights; these are our blueprint, built from RERA's Brokerage Practice Guide and the course syllabus, and our practice exams draw questions in these proportions.
A free account with the first 15 questions in every topic (225 in all), instant worked explanations, the free mock test, study note previews and progress tracking. A pass unlocks every question, the full practice exams and every study note.
Domain weights are our blueprint (DLD publishes none). Exam facts from DLD reports and Bayut, as at 12 Oct 2026; confirm with DLD before you book.
