RERA Exam Pass Mark: 70%, 75% or 85%?
Three pass marks circulate for the Dubai RERA exam: 70%, 75% and 85%. Here is where each comes from, so you can judge them yourself.
| Pass mark | Who said it | When |
|---|---|---|
| 85% (raised from 75%) | RERA's CEO, quoted by Gulf News | 15 Sep 2018 |
| At least 75% | DLD, as reported by Emarat Al Youm when it announced annual broker tests from January 2023 | 2 Nov 2022 |
| 75% | Training providers ierei.ae and reledemy.com; Virtuzone | 2024-2026 |
| More than 70% | Bayut; dxbtraining.ae | Oct 2025; May 2026 |
What to aim for
The most recent figure attributed to DLD itself is 75%, and most current training providers agree. Aim to pass full timed practice exams at 80% or more before you book: that clears 75% with a margin, and it gets close to the 85% that RERA announced in 2018 in case that figure applies to your sitting.
Our practice exams grade you against 75% and also show whether you would have passed at 70% and 85%. Ask your course provider which figure applied to their most recent class; see the booking guide.
